Abstract

This research focuses on legal protection for women victims of revenge pornography, which is a form of online gender-based violence (KBGO). Revenge porn is the distribution of photos or videos that contain sexual elements without the consent of the content owner with the aim of humiliating or destroying the victim's life. This research aims to find out and analyze legal protection for women victims of revenge pornography in the case study of Decision Number 147/Pid.B/2023/PN Tlk. This research uses a normative juridical approach with primary and secondary data types. Legal protection for women victims of revenge porn in Indonesia is regulated in various laws, including the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE. Case study in Decision Number 147/Pid.B /2023/PN TLK shows that legal protection still needs to be improved, especially in terms of law enforcement and psychological protection for victims. This research concludes that although there are legal regulations governing legal protection for women victims of revenge pornography, there are still shortcomings in law enforcement and psychological support for victims.
